Its always incredible to me how a company can make some tire models that are so excellent, and some which are such crap!
It happens but it's more the exception then the norm from Michelin and Bridgestone which are two of the top tire manufacturers. As sad as it may seem the OEM tires are different than the exact tires sold on Tirerack. Bridgestone works directly with Toyota engineers when they make the tires for our cars and the only place you can get the OEM tires is usually only from the dealer.
In my opinion somebody dropped the ball.
