Default YAY or NAY megan carbon racing "lip"

So I just opened my Megan Racing package after waiting a week and it felt like christmas, until I opened it all the way and it was much bigger than expected. After putting it on an hour ago it started to grow on me a little but im not sure about it quite yet. Let me know what you think!!

Doesn't seem to fit the car, so my answer is NAY.

Fit as into the looks of the car or actual fitment to the car? It is perfectly molded to the lines and there are no gaps or spaces anywhere around it. The lighting may make it look like fit is off.

Oh no, fitment looks perfect. It just looks out of place. Maybe a feature I would look for on an M5, GSF, or maybe even the 13+ LS F-Sport. But to me the 2008-10 LS has a very sculpted body that radiates elegance and grace rather than muscle and power. For that reason, the lip and especially the naked CF clash with the rest of the car. But again, that's my view.

I think it would look less bad if it was painted the same color as the car.

I think the Ls460 is sculpted so well, that any aftermarket addition looks a bit off. I'm a purist , so even an aftermarket rim is too much for me.

I look at cars as works of art, high end cars to be more specific, so altering it in any way is not for me.
Ls460 design is in its own league compared to previous LS models.

I recall older Porsche 911 turbos having a whale tale spoilers and how funny they looked, but in their defense, they were fully functional.

Thanks all, to each their own. Ill keep it for a couple days and see how I feel. Or maybe the car wash will decide for me someday ooo but the whale tails, I love the air cooled Porsches with a tail we have quite a few right now.

i seen a lot of cars with black spoilers and it looks nice if you have other black/carbon accents like a black roof, or black wheels, or black grille, or black emblems...

as it sits now , no it doesn't really flow, but if your planning on lowering the car and getting into some wheels and a body kit then it will be nice.

Serves no purpose other than looks? That's the equivalent of sticking a body kit on a civic. The LS460 is a very elegant design, so sticking that on there is like sticking a carbon fiber pimple on a supermodel.
