Thank you kindly Devh!
I couldn't agree more.
Wish I was more of an oil guy, as maybe I could hypothesize on why that hasn't been formulated...for cars anyway.
Also, I didn't quite comprehend the "race track" comment..but again, as you've clearly stated, the best tool I know of to gauge the chemical/elemental state of a fluid, is a chem test.

Default Fluid color change I don't get smh

Crowe, I invited DEVH to drive 60mph on a closed track by himself with g-force measuring equipment and a helmet. He passive aggressively declined and used a lot of words to do it. Btw, we already have fluid that changes colors. Enjoy your cars ladies and gentlemen.

HONDACBR: If you need any information about the transmission service, send me a message.

Perhaps because you're suggestion was unreasonable? LOL

Anyways, I'll add my .02 cents regarding fluid color. Fluid color (especially in engine oil) does not accurately indicate the condition of said fluid. Now if it smells BURNT, then that is a better indicator. But an analysis at a lab is better......cheap and comprehensive.

WS fluid changes color very quickly from what I've read and been told. Talked to the parts manager at Lexus, to tell him how dark my fluid was and he said it turns into something that almost looks like gear fluid after a few thousand miles. There's also photos - and I believe a video on YouTube - on how WS fluid actually changes color (gets dark) in direct sunlight.
