Default LED running lights replacement

I noticed that the after market DRL LED I installed a while back like few other on this forums are both broken. Without having been in any crash or bumped against anything the plastic lens cover on both side is falling off.
Is there a better brand to use to replace them and what is the best/safest way to remove the 3M double sided auto adhesise I used to put them on?

I've had the same issue, but fortunately, they're cheap enough to replace as needed.

To remove the tape, I use lacquer thinner (sparingly).

Lacquer thinner is a good idea, was thinking about hair dryer. Did you end up buying the same style?

Better brands- look at Hella, Phillips...of course more $$$

Goo Gone works well to remove adhesive. You may need to heat it up a little with a blow dryer or heat gun if its a little hard

The bonus of using lacquer thinner is that it preps the paint for re-applying the tape.

Yes I bought the same lights. I've bought a couple of extra sets. Like I said, dirt cheap and they look great.

Thanks, i think light heat might be gentler on the paint.
