I've been driving Lexus LS for 12 years, 03, 07,13.
I'm considering replacing an old SUV second car with a CPO 2011 RX350 or a brand new Toyota RAV4 Limited for about the same price.
How does the ride softness and quiet cabin of the RX compare with the LS?

A few months ago I had the RX 350 as a loaner vehicle for a few days and it was ok. It's no caparison to the LS. The RX was noisy, not nearly as smooth, the interior seems cheaper, and the fuel mileage wasn't that great. The RX height and visibility is better. The LS and RX are in separate classes.

Was that car at Lexus Escondido? Funny. I just picked up a 08 460L. Pretty well equipt with lux package upgrade rear seats, ml audio, 75k miles $23900. I kept my search to under 75k miles and there's not many out there right now.

I had a fully loaded rx350 and it was a great car...for a small suv. Tires on that car really effect how it drives plus if it's fwd, you have to get used to that because it drives totally different then rwd. I have a fully loaded 07 gx470 w sport package and 60k miles that I love driving but its an suv so you can't compare to car. Still, besides the outdated technology, and not so great fuel mileage, I can't see upgrading as we put less than 5k miles a year on it
