I don’t remember ever trying to use the horn on my car in the two years I’ve owned it. I don’t know if it even works or not. I don’t honk at folks. That being said, if your horn has failed, upgrade to something big. A Nathan K3LA would be good.
Yes, but I filed them down so they're barely visible now. My horn does not work at all except for when the alarm/panic is on. I haven't really looked into yet, however, I do have a new clock spring waiting to be installed when I find some time. I'm hoping that will be the correct fix.
As of this week the horn is no longer working on my 08. This is a pretty big safety issue and it's never happened to me in 20 years of driving and owning cars.

Join the club. I gave up. Next year when it's time for inspection, I'll take it to the dealership.
Just pushed the horn in pretty hard from all different angles/spots and gave it some taps and it started working normally again. I think when I started pushing up from the bottom of the horn area it started working.

That's what happened when my horn got erratic and mostly stopped working which I reported in this thread over one year ago. If you can get the horn to sometimes work by pressing different parts of the horn pad, then you've got a defective horn pad.
When my horn failed, I drove my LS home and parked it until I took it in to have the problem fixed. I can't seem to go to the grocery store without some geezer backing out of a parking space without looking and having to honk to stop him/her.
No, my success was short lived. It's not working anymore. I will fire up Techstream at some point and see what it says if anything. Also, I will continue beating on my horn pad.
