Since I'm searching for a 2013 LS460, I'm wondering if it's possible to find a long-wheelbase model (L) without Air Suspension?
I would really prefer the LWB, but want to avoid the Air Suspension.
Please chime in. Thanks!

Tons of '13 LWB without the air suspension for sale and you shouldn't have a problem finding one.

Just had another look at the packages. Ultra Luxury does indeed require air suspension for 2013+ (although it's not included; you pay for both). Oddly, Executive doesn't appear to require air, although I doubt a single car will actually be manufactured with Executive but without air.

Our 2010 460L does not have air and our friends 2010 SWB AWD LS 460 does have air. I have driven both cars on long road trips and am just as happy not having it on the 460L. While we do not have the Executive rear seating we do have the upgraded rear seating which has the Luxury package as part of it. It comes with reclining, heated and cooled seats. I really don't think not having air is that big of a deal plus I have peace of mind that I will not have to deal with the air issue.

Unfortunately for 2013 Lexus made it impossible to order that combination. If you want Ultra Luxury (which is what used to be Rear Seat Upgrade + 4-zone climate) you have to have air.

There is. When you put the SWB in sport the suspension IMHO becomes very stiff and quite uncomfortable on my sore old back. When you put it in comfort it becomes quite soft and floating, it's like crawling into a bed that is way to soft. However in Normal it feels very close to what a non air 460L is like? Plus I don't worry about when it is going out and what it is going to costs to replace it.
