I bought my 2007 LS460 from my in-laws on August 28, 2015.
We were to meet at the Avis near my house (I had to rent a car for the time between when my old car (2003 LS430) died and when my in-laws were able to give up the car).
I was standing in the Avis parking lot when I saw my mother-in-law driving down the block. She started her turn too soon and promptly jammed the rear passenger side rim into the curb - a parting gift before handing over the key LOL.
I smile every time I go to get into it in the morning and at the end of the day.
Sweet@ Congrats. Researching some four doors myself and a coworker has one of the extended versions(L) of your car. Truly a nice car.
Maybe it is because I was so use to my old car, but the "new" car, though it is only 4 years newer, and is 8 years old, feels soooo much more luxurious that the old one.
I especially love the Bluetooth for phone calls, but I was a little bummed when I found out I could not use it for my music and Podcasts from my iPhone, but I fixed that, sort of.
There are a few things that are different about the cars that I liked more in the old car (like how far the center panel cover opens), but, otherwise, I am really enjoying it.
I noticed that u said your 03 LS 430 died. What happened if u dont mind me asking? LS 430's just dont die. Im just curious to know what happened.
The cooling system failed (including, apparently, losing all coolant at the end) and the engine exploded while I was driving to the mechanic to check on some weird noises. The list of parts that were damaged was long and expensive.
