Default Code p2240

Was wondering if anyone know what's best to do, say it's 02 sensor bank 1 any help appreciated, and thanks in advance

If your scanner can read the monitors you can graph the o2 sensors up and downstream and more or less get an area of where the fault is, O2 sensors read oxygen levels and compensate for the fault by adjusting fuel/air ratios. Faulty ground, vacuum lines, clogged injectors, or the sensor itself can all contribute to a faulty O2 sensor, although throwing a new one on will 75% of time fix it, there are other times that things maybe wrong and the sensor is simply advising you.

Truthfully it's probably just the sensor, if it wasn't there would be other codes to go along with it. You can do a visual inspection of the wires, this is the time of year mice love to eat wires in an engine compartment. It could be the heater circuit (bad sensor). If it's not the sensor it could be a million other things, but like I said, most of them will throw other codes.
