Got the P7 AS Plus II’s installed. Only drove home from the tire shop, about 8 miles. So far so good. Definitely smoother and quieter, but this may be due to new tires and my old tire was about ready to blow out.

I will check back in a few days, once I get some highway time with them. 👍

I've got 10K miles on the Pirellis. I like them, much better than the OEM Bridgestones. And they are so quiet!

No brand is "quieter" or "better" than another brand. It depends on what model of tires you're talking about. Michelin makes a wide variety of tires as does Pirelli. Michelin does not currently make a soft quiet toruing tire, I had hopes that the new Primacy Tour A/S would be that, but TireRack's test said they found the average, and sort of firm.

A few months i purchased a set of Bridgestones Sereinty plus for my LS 460 and these tires are extremely quiet and smooth, just like the Michelin Primacy MXV4 they replaced. Brigestones, Michelins, Pirellis etc are excellent tires is just finding the right tires for your vehicle.

The Serenity has been replaced by the Turanza QuietTrack. Those are also great tires, I just dont think they're worth an additional $60 a tire over the Pirellis

Thanks for the Tire rack review. It does look like the Michelins are the best all around. Especially if you like to drive the car a little hard for the handling.

Depends on what you're looking for. I bought the LS for its great soft and quiet ride, and I want tires that maximize those attributes, so the Michelins being "somewhat firm for a grand touring all season tire" gives me pause.

$.50 per tire. Literally, the Plus is $216.50 and the Plus II is $217.
