Default Front door storage panel removable?

Does anyone know if the front door storage panel (the one that articulates out if more room is needed) is removeable/replaceable from the door panel itself? I've searched but can't seem to find an answer.

I've got a few deep nicks that irritate me every time I look at it, so hoping I can replace it. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

As far as I know, anything having to do with the door panel, whether it be the arm rest or any portion/area of the semi-aniline leather, the entire door panel has to be replaced.
I imagine this would be the case for the fold out storage door on the panel as well, though I could be incorrect here.

I suspected that as well, but was utterly hoping that my assumption was wrong and that someone replaced it before .

I mean, I could very well be incorrect.
I was just providing what I have been told in the past.
Heck, there may actually be a way to swap that hinged panel out with a little ebay searching and DIY magic.
I believe Roadfrog has literature that displays the different area(s) of the car in exploded diagrams, and from that, one can figure out it its a repair/fix that can be done with minimal finances dished out.
Good luck!
