i wonder if this car is a lemon, or if the owner was very picky and just brought it in for every single thing to get changed just because it was under warranty and it was an expensive car.
i can't tell if this car is trouble or the owner had a hook up at lexus and just had everything replaced just for the hell of it to keep the car as new as possible for as long as he could. from the start of the car until 2015 under warranty still getting repairs.
it could be good for me that all these things were repaired or replaced.

So my initial thought was "eh, the owner was probably just picky." But I am glad you posted the history. Having reviewed the entire thing I would not get this particular car. While the owner did want many things replaced, it appears that a good majority of his complaints were found to be legitimate (i.e., it shows that the dealer was able to verify his issues).

Wow, some of the stuff is std LS (shifting@41K/batteries/brakes/control arms/b-pillar trim), then there are the electrical concerns. What is their asking price and mileage on this car? What did it run like during your test drive? Did you have this list before the test drive?

Looking over that list, or half of it, I would pass too. It's long and it's full of unusual repairs. When I was looking for my LS a few months back, I looked at the service history of 10-15 LS460s and I didn't see half of the repairs on any of the cars as I see on this one. There are some pretty unique repairs on this one that aren't standard failures with the 460.

the car only has 75k miles. i am going to see it. but the pictures i got were looking like it has been super cleanly maintained. supposedly one owner leased it than bought it. i will verify the carafe when i get my hands on a copy.
i will ask him about all these records which i researched on my own.
i kind of think maybe he had a connection at the dealer and they were just milking the warranty to keep repairing things to keep the car as new as possible until warranty ends. its something i would do to if i end up buying it and getting my own 3 year 36000 miles through penfed credit union / route 66 warranty. I'm not too worried once i see it i will be able to tell how good the car really is. and i will be covered with warranty. lets see what his response is to the list i show him i pulled up. i could also go to the dealership service debt and maybe get some answers.
i do some lots of good repairs done which i think is a positive for me moving forward. some of them i recall from owning my previous 2007.

It's not an inherently bad thing to have a maintenance list that long. More often than not it just means that the car was meticulously maintained; when something felt off, it was taken in immediately and rectified.
This car does have a lot of things replaced that wouldn't otherwise need to be replaced, but that could also be a good thing. It just means that the components that have been replaced should have a less likely hood of going bad compared to a car that hasn't had that specific part replaced.

A Costco warranty? Interesting. Well you can look at it two ways. 1 It's a lot of problems. 2 They've all been addressed. I can't say one way or the other as that is certainly your call. Good luck.

The pricing and miles appear ok. If your heart is set on it, the following would be in my recommendations in order of importance:
Transmission service/Differential service
New rotors (non oem) and pads (Akebono)
Optima Battery-Yellow Top
*Inspect B-pillar trim for damage/scuffs. If found get an estimate from an upholsterer.
*Have a Lexus dealer look over the car (i.e. control arms)
