2016 OEM Tires: two different brands

I had the Toyos for about 5,000 miles, so I can't comment on how long they stayed quiet. My Primacy MXM4 on that car definitely got louder as they got older.
I too take reviews with a grain of salt. If you look at OEM tires vs tires that don't come OEM and are typically replacement tires, the OEM tires get poor ratings, and the replacements good ratings. Reason for that is the OEM tires are reviewed at the end of their life and the replacement tires are reviewed when they are new. I did a LOT of research though, both TR Reviews, TR testing, other reviews and testing, discussion on here and other car forums as well, before I pulled the trigger.
The Toyos I bought because the tire shop was out of the Pirelli and they had a 30 day ride guarantee, I liked them so I kept them. The time I really did a ton of research before I bought. From the standpoint of wanting the smoothest, quietest ride the other tire I would consider is the Michelin Premier, but I have heard some complaints about noise on those, and they don't come in the LS's sizes. I didn't want to mess with non OEM sized tires.

The first rule of OEM tires is that they're never any good unless you're buying an extreme performance car where track-ready tires (such as Michelin Pilot Sport Cups) are part of the package. The LS factory tires are not the best of either Michelin or Bridgestone.
Lots of people seem to like the P7 + for quiet and smooth. Personally, I find the LS already more than quiet and smooth enough and want a bit more firmness and grip from the tire. Michelin AS/3s were on the car when I bought it, and they were excellent but had been worn out prematurely as a result of my bad control arms. I replaced them with Continental DWS06, also excellent, although prone to a short-lived bit of vibration when very cold.

I was able to sell the barely used Turanzas for $100 each on craigslist. You'd be surprised how many people don't do the research, and want to replace tires with EXACTLY what came with the car originally.
