With that high mileage your front control arm bushings are almost certainly toast. You probably have other worn suspension parts too.

Did you say 203,000 miles?? Wow! You're one of the higher mileage members on here. Other than the worn out control arms, how's the car overall? There is quite a debate as to how well the LS460 will hold up compared to the LS430.

As for your control arms, the four uppers are most likely shot, with the forward leading bottoms not far behind. I just bought the uppers and two lowers myself this past week. I ordered a mixture of Beck Arnely and Mevotech. The Beck Arnely brand looks like high quality and I've read that 90% of their stuff is rebadged OEM stuff and I must say it does look like OEM parts. The prices were $45 for the rearward facing uppers, $79 for the front facing uppers, and $90 for the lowers (all prices were per control arm). If you choose to go with genuine Lexus parts the prices are about $375 dollars for each individual arm.

The vibration you feel can also be caused by warped brake rotors. Lexus rotors are notorious for warping easily. Replace them with much less expensive, aftermarket rotors.

With 200K miles you can expect some suspension issues.

Welcome and glad you found your LS460. While it may have high mileage, it doesn't mean you can enjoy years of luxury to come. Sure you will have some repairs along the way, but it will all be worth the ride!
