Hi all, I picked up a 2012 CPO LS 460 just before Christmas and wanted to introduce myself.
Haven't driven much over the holidays, but look forward to many years of serene motoring in this baby.
I truly love naturally aspirated v8 motors!
Over the years I've had:
Holden Kingswood and Commodore
Ford Mustang and Crown Vic
Toyota Sequoia
Pontiac G8 GT
To me there is nothing like that giant hand of torque propelling you forward at effortless low-rpm.
I've tried 4's and hi-revving 6's with turbos, etc.., and as a younger man, even did some street and track drag racing. but I've outgrown the need for speed somewhat and looking for the "old-man" ride.
We've had cars from datsun, holden, peugeot, dodge, opel, hyundai and toyota and by far our favourites have been the Toyotas: reliable, well-built and easy for the DIYer to work on.
I've had success competing in IASCA (SQ) with my 1998 Toyota Windom (Lexus ES 300)
What a great car that was!
The LS should be even better!!
Currently in our stable:
2013 RAV4 - son's
2013 Sienna - mom taxi and road tripper
2014 Hyundai Accent 6M hatchback - daily commute
2012 LS 460 - new addition - pearl white / tan, ML, backup assist
