Here is a semi related question. How do I delete phones from my car. I can't seem to get the 3 phones the previous owner had synced with my car. I read the manual but to no avail. Seems like it would be very straight forward. I can't even seem to get my old iPhone off there either.

Not directly from what I've read. I will say though that 95% of my calls are to/from probably less than 10 numbers. I can input those by hand.

Looks like you are going to have to update them manually one at a time. But after that all other functions should work fine.

Cannot be done. The only way I know of getting contacts to your car would be to either use an Android phone (borrow a friends if they let you) or use a bluetooth enabled laptop. The thing is that the iPhone doesn't support the OBEX bluetooth profile since that's what the car relies on for contact transfers. Most Android phones have that profile by default and typically any laptop with Bluetooth also supports that profile. Apple uses the PBAP profile for contact transfers which unfortunately the Lexus doesn't support. I believe 2010+ LS's support that profile in addition to A2DP for bluetooth audio. I'm not sure why Lexus designed their system like this, but it's completely and utterly stupid. I mean, my '05 A6 automatically transfers contacts to my car without a problem from my iPhone 6 Plus in addition to any other Android and Windows phone.

It's crazy in this day and age...it's not the car, it's the iPhone 6 that can't get it done. lol
