Can't find RWD in the Northeast
Sucks. Every dealer and I have been to and contacted only stocks AWD models. I don't know what it is. Apparently all the RWD cars end up down south or out on the west coast. I'm trying to find a mid 2010 - 2012 clean 460 and it has been frustrating. May have to have one shipped in.

Yeah, I'm sure the region and climate has a lot to do with where certain models end up at the dealer and subsequently end up on the secondary market.
Before buying my car, I was browsing new and used inventory off and on for almost a year in my area and I would rarely see AWD here in Sacramento/SF Bay Area, although I do remember seeing one or two used ones pop up on Carmax from time-to-time.
Good luck in your search and enjoy the ride!

This is not news. Dealers up here only order AWD vehicles (new).
Putting that aside, looking elsewhere is not new either for folks here... If you know what you want specifically, finding the "right" car, condition, price, etc. takes some work.
FWIW, I bought my '08 in 2011. There were plenty of '08s available up here (RWD, since that's all that existed back then). The ones I saw, many of them already CPOd by local dealerships, looked like crap. I ended up getting myself a pristine TX one-owner 460L - no exposure to road salt or enormous potholes like up here.
Good luck with your search!

Any particular reason why you don't want the AWD?

Clean RWD's are very hard to find, I was looking for a RWD last year and finally "settled" on a 2012 CPO AWD...... Very happy with the car and the wife loves the AWD.
Good luck on your search!

Here is the odd thing. The dealers I have spoken to mention that the RWD cars that do come in and tend to sell quickly. The ones sitting on the lot are AWD.
Honestly, with good tires AWD is not necessary here in NJ. The reason I want RWD is the added reliability and some issues with the 460 AWD system, more hp & tq, better mileage, less vehicle weight, and better tire life.

Having owned two RWD LSs in Maryland, where we get less snow than you do up there, even on good all season tires the LS RWD is a total pig in the snow.
