I notice that my Electronic Parking brake doesnt seem to work anymore and I no longer have the little green light that illuminates where the parking brake switch is. Also, I now have a message on the dash that say check parking brake system have vehicle checked by dealer. does anyone know what caused this or does anybody know how to fix it or reset it?

You try engaging the parking brake manually and see if it engages? It could just be the auto function that is malfunctioning.

But again, I would probably listen to the computer and have something like this checked out in my humble opinion.

Others have reported this a few times as being an early warning sign of a failing battery.

Run the car by a place like AutoZone and get them to test the battery.
