Here's my wife's 2008 LS 460. We just purchased it last weekend (Apr 29th, 2017). It was an AZ car. It now lives in CA. It was pretty well taken care of with 76K miles on her. It does need new front bushings. My plan is to get new control arms and replace the bushings with polyurethane bushings from Armstrong Distributor. I've performed similar work to my E39 540I 6spd. I appreciate all the knowledge and experience that have been accumulated here. I also own a 1999 GS300 that one of my boys drives.

Hello CL. New LS460 owner here.
Location: Other side of the world in New Zealand
Vehicle: 2006 LS460
Grey exterior w/cream interior
Factory 18's
60,000km ( 37,000 miles )
Sold my Toyota Crown Athlete ( JDM import ) and upgraded to the Lexus
Factory standard at the moment with the only mod of 30% tints but have a set of Tanabe NF210 springs, Simota High flow panel filters and Oliver Enterprises Exhaust Vents on the way over from USA. Also on the lookout for set of new rims. Might stick with 20" rims as 22's over here are very pricey.

Man you Kiwi's are fortunate to have access to the JDM and without onerous tariffs. Needless to say also helps that both countries are RHD and Japan in a somewhat underhanded way makes keeping a car past 4 or 5 years obscenely expensive to keep domestic new car sales going. Huge coup for you guys and the Aussies.
That Crown looks simply awesome and I really think you will love your 460. Will be interesting to find out what options and features are offered on a JDM LS460 with it being the first Lexus branded car sold in Japan.
When possible, I would love to see some interior shots of the car. Great color too.

New to me
Good morning all.
As part of my research, I have been lurking for some time. Finally pulled the trigger.
This weekend we acquired a 09 LS460 L AWD. 69K on the clock, new tires and immaculate looks. Pictures and, I am sure, questions to follow.
This beauty is for the wife. I drive a 2000 LX.

Just purchased a 2015 LS460L
(This is my 1st post, so let me know if I screw this up)
2015 LS460L
Bought it certified 1st week of May with less than 10K miles
Totally flawless - no scratches anywhere that I could find.
My 4th and best Lexus so far - excited about this one. I traded in a 2011 LS460 Touring Edition. I thought it rode great until I tried out this one. It's just unbelievably smooth and quiet. It has 18 inch wheels which along with the air suspension, helps with the ride.
Exterior: STARFIRE PEARL
Interior: LIGHT GRAY w/SHIMAMOKU
Options:
Adaptive Variable Air Suspension
Advanced Pre-Collision Sys with Dynamic Radar Cruise Ctrl,
Blind Spot Monitor w/Rear Cross Traffic Alert
LED Headlamps w/intelligent high-beams & washers
Mark Levinson 19-spkr
Semi-Aniline Leather Interior and Alcantara Upgrade
Ultra Luxury Pkg: Climate-comfort fr & Rr seats, 4-zone climate, overhead ducts, Climate Concierge

New guy looking to buy soon
Hello everyone!
I am just a new guy and I recently paid off my 4Runner and finished my Master's Degree...so now I am ready to reward myself with what I consider the best looking modern luxury car out there.
A few things attract me to the LS.
Mainly it is how reliable they are (at least their reputation for that).
I also love the look of them, inside and out.
Hoping to look around this forum and read up and learn a lot about these cars and hopefully before long, I will find one that I love and I will purchase it.
Quasi off-topic...all these cars on this thread just look so great washed up and detailed up!
You guys and gals make it easy to fall in love with these cars.

Another satisfied customer.
Hello to the forum. We just upgraded to a 2009 LS base AWD with only 137000 miles. My wife has been spoiled by Lexus and will drive nothing else now. Black Sapphire metallic with dark gray interior. Got a heck of a deal on it, and since our previous LS430 is still going strong at 275k, we are not really concerned about the miles. Looks and drives new. Wanted the AWD for winters in Ohio. Basically zero rust that I can see. Sure glad they went to timing chains on the 460 engine. Anyway, the forum has been a godsend over the past 12 years we have owned the LS430 and I am looking forward to being able to reap the benefits of member's experiences once again should the occasional issue arise with the 460. Sorry, no pics at the moment.

New LS 460 owner here! Just recently traded in my 2004 Honda S2000 for a 2007 Base LS 460. I definitely miss the drive of the S2000, it's such a fun/drivers car! I was debating on buying a 2013+ GS 350 F sport, but got the LS for 13k less than what I would've paid for the GS. Trying to get used to driving this thing. Recently went on a 1200 mile road trip, I'm quite impressed with the highway gas mileage and how quiet the cabin is. Other than that I'm not sure how I feel about the car yet. Maybe its a little too "luxurious" for me. Here's a a couple pics.

Just got my "new" LS460, 2008. Beautiful sparkly red (don't know the official color name). Have been driving my faithful 2004 LS430 since 2005 and it now has 235,000 miles on it. Will probably keep both cars. Bought the 2008 with 90,000 miles. Hoping for the same experience with this new car.
