I bought a pristine Golden Almond 2007 LS460 with 54K miles last March in West Palm Beach, FL. It had new brakes and tires along with every bell and whistle offered that year and everything works perfectly. It even has an extended bumper to bumper warranty for 100K miles and 3 more years. Unfortunately it suffered from the same sticky window sills and cracked arm rests they all have. My solution was to have them all reupholstered at Peppy's Auto in Naples, FL. I chose to cover the arm rests in the same dark color as the sills and dash. Now it has a more custom look and I am thrilled with the car. IMO it should have come this way from the factory. Here are some pix.

How long did it take to complete the job? And were you able to see how they removed the door handles from the panel? My upholsterer didn't think he could do it at first, until I showed him the color pictures of your new door handles!

Just picked up a 2007 Lexus LS460, black on black, fully loaded, except for the dynamic cruise control. Needs a few fixes here and there, but on my 80 mile drive home I got 29.9mpgs, so I was quite a happy guy.

I just noticed you referred only to my reupholstered door handles, but they also did my window sills in the same material. It all matches the dash.

Bought our 2002 LS430 back in April. We immediately had it converted to LPG and did the cambelt.
It's silver exterior and cream and walnut interior. It had done 103k miles when we bought it. Now at 108k. Use it every day. Love it!
