I just wanted to introduce myself (again as a member long time ago) and to say happy to be back in the Lexus family. Previously owned a 1996 LS400 & 2003 GS430 and just picked up a 2013 LS460 with 80k miles on it. I sure have missed until now the LS line of cars.

How can I tell? That's how the dealer advertised it to me. I have tried adding my VIN to the Lexus app but it won't accept my vin, I have also tried adding it to the Lexus Drivers web site. I know I have the right vin because I have used the scanner app to try and add my LS and typing the vin and neither work. Is there another source? I have other Toyota vehicles we own and there is a Toyota site where you add your vehicle to your garage and you get to see all the installed options from factory or if installed at port along with service history and a lot of other useful info.
I thought executive package had motorized rear seats with a cool box having a center console in between the back seats. Still you have a beautiful car.
@Boomin That was my understanding as well and our LS does have the reclining, messaging, memory rear seats that are heated and cooled along with 4 zone climate control. The only part that was fuzzy to me is that ours is NOT and "L" (long wheelbase) and so the rear seats do NOT have the motorized foot rest functionality.
We are thrilled with our LS and these comments don't discourage me in any way and I welcome your comments and feedback and those of others. I am also eager to learn the true package information in our LS so this dialog with you and @toantran99 is productive and welcomed.
You have the ultimate package, your rear seat does recline and vibrate but the executive package have 4 seat with the rear ottoman can have the shiatsu massage.
Dealer did not option it properly, I would talk to them and see if you can at least get some money back.
The executive package is around a $15000.
Its a used car with 80k miles on it. As I shopped the used market this particular LS was very slightly more in price than others and for sure not an extra $15k. I negotiated pretty hard and am happy with the price paid using my experience with Lexus as my ammo to lower the price from their advertised asking price to a number in line with true value vs current market value which is insane right now.
Thanks for the info about the 4 seat vs 5 seat on the executive package. I wasn't aware of this 5 seat version until I saw and drove this LS we purchased and the 4 seat was NOT needed for me to purchase. I wasn't even requiring the rear control center or cooler box in my quest but did want radar cruise control and we got radar cruise control.
Car is definitely not worth the extra $15k now but when it was order new, the package cost $15k. My mistake if I didn't communicate that.
Enjoy your new ride, I have the same vehicle and package.
My buddy and I both picked up high mileage 460's last week for daily's. He found an 09 L + Exec @145k and I got an 07 @162k. It just made sense as both of our Audi's (S4 & S5) just crossed 100k and are headaches. Undeniable value in these vehicles.
He'll probably leave his stock, because California.
Mine has air filters and will probably get some exhaust work after the coilovers go on (front struts are blown).
Beside a new rear end and wheels, I'll probably be content.
I was finally able to get my vin added to the Lexus app, it kept fighting me because it was set to the previous owner and I have to provide Lexus with proof I purchased it. According to the Lexus App we have the following options:
AS - Adaptive Variable Air Suspension w/Variable Gear Ratio Steering, Comfort & SportS + Drive Modes
BM - Blind Spot Monitor w/Rear Cross Traffic Alert
FY - 19" Split seven spoke alloy wheels with high-gloss finish
IL - LED Headlamps w/intelligent high-beams & washers
IR - Shimanoku Espresso Ebony Wood
LU - Semi-Anniline Leather Trim Interior and Alcantara Headline
ML - Mark Levinson 19 speaker with single DVD/CD player
PS - Pre-Collison System with all speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
UL - Ultra Luxury 4 zone climate control, with rear overhead ducts, climate concierge, power rr& rr door sunshades, power adjustable outboard rr seats with memory, 2 way power lumbar support and lumbar massage, power adjustable outboard rear butterfly headrest, wood trimmed climate & audio controls in rear-center armrest, rear seat air purifier with cool box and rear seat mounted side airbags, power trunk ops/close
WT - Heated wood steering wheel with leather center pad
Z1 - Accessory PKG, Trunk mat, cargo net & wheel locks
Most important to me was finding one with a full service history (documented) no accident, non-smoker, and we really wanted Mark Levinson and radar cruise control so this fit our list. Its nice to have all these extras but wasn't required.
We still love it! Thanks all that helped me figure out what was really on the car.
