Greetings!
2010 Sport w/58k miles
Mercury Metallic
Comfort, Nav/Levinson/Advanced Parking Pkgs
Obviously the previous owner swapped the original rims. Anyone know what year/pkg had these rims?
Purchased in early May and I have more to share, but I'll save that for another post.
This forum has been very helpful to me and I appreciate the time spent by those who have contributed their knowledge and experiences
Thanks!

Now that you mention it, the 2010-12 LS460 Sport (before the actual 2013+ "F Sport") did come with that wheel design. However, from the few of each version I've seen, I recall the inner spokes on 10-12s were a lighter shade than the ones on the 13-17 F Sports. Lexus specifically marketed the 13-17 F Sport wheels as being manufactured by BBS. Are your inner spokes a dark grey or black?
Regardless, she looks beautiful! The only downside for me would be washing the brake dust off all those spokes.

They're grey. Yep, you're exactly right that they're the correct split-ten spoke design for 2010-2012 sport, I just haven't seen any with those grey inner spokes.
No doubt! I'm shopping new pads now! Much appreciated!

2007 LS460 JDM RHD w/ 117k KM
Version U/I package with everything and air.
Black
Imported a few months ago now. 0 rust, low km, has a 2018 F-sport LS500 bumper, with LS600 tri beam LED headlights. I’ve only had to replace the tensioner and belt so far. Currently planning to convert to adjustable coilovers, as two struts are leaking. I drive the car hard enjoying it for the summers only, it is straight piped now and is super raw and aggressive .

New to me, Brand and Car
First Lexus, and I had to pick the LS.
It was a trade-in at Northwest Lexus in Markham. I found it on Kijiji ( A Classified ad ).
When I got it home on September 26th 2019, it had a couple of burnt out lights and the TPMS was on. The light mysteriously came on 20 minutes after I left the dealership.
That means, they reset the light and left it like that. The car came on 20" Rims. No TPMS. No Stock rims included.
I noticed that it hummed on the way home. Within a Month, I knew why they were selling it so cheap. It needed Wheel bearings on the front.
Well I did some digging and for $1000 a corner, I could get them replaced. I being the DIYer that I am settled in to replace them myself.
I got a set of bearings from Rock Auto, but did not pick the cheap ones. The first side took 3 days. Sweat blood, and literally tears.
The second side, 3 hours. Still quite a bit of hammering but some well placed blows, as I knew where the bearing and support needed to come apart.
I wasn't happy driving around on 20's and I had to get some new rubber anyway. I sourced a rough set of stock rims and sent them to the Rim Doctor in Kitchener to be refinished.
They powder coated them Gun Metal Gray after stripping them and fixing some curb rash. They now really set the car apart,
Once I got it looking and running good, I had a battery draw that would kill it overnight. Have you every traced a current draw in a vehicle with 45 fuse boxes? Hint: You start at the beginning...
I eventually traced the draw to the Passenger rear seat ECU. That's right, everything electric in this beast has an ECU.
Pulling the fuse solved the drain until I can replace that ECU.
After that, I wanted to replace some leaky shocks and Struts. I did all 4 corners. I knew enough before I bought, not to get an air suspension.
Sourced from Rock Auto again, I fitted these and it was fairly straight forward. Although the removal of the back seats and package tray was very time consuming.
Lastly, my Transmission started acting up under hard acceleration and in right hand corners.
It finally threw a code and my Techstream told me it was a Shift control solenoid. You can go to my post on this to see how that went.
Now I have a super reliable car that I need to feed with oil every 4000km's. The Odometer went from 172,000km to 244,000 in very short order.
It's a dream to drive on the freeway and we have taken it to Florida more times than I can count over these 2 1/2 years.
Love the car and I love this forum.
It has saved me countless cash and sleepless nights.
Glad to be here.

2007 LS 460
Mark Levinson audio (broken), self parking, 18" wheels
Verdigris Mica/Tan leather
I got the car from the original owner (old folks) in late 2018 with 18,000 miles
Stock at this time. I would like to put some stock 19" wheels or aftermarket 20" wheels on at some point.
I am normally a Ford guy, but I can say honestly I had no idea what I was missing until I started driving this LS. Very nice car to spend time in.
About me... I have a background in drag racing (own, build, and drive a stock suspension 28x10.5 slick/275/60 drag radial car), shooting sports, grilling/smoking/cooking, and a little farming.

Nice pick up and welcome to the forum! In order to "preserve some of the luxury feel", I personally would not go larger than 20s. I also like black wheels with some sort of color accent for black vehicles. I'm on 19 x 9.5s with staggered tire sizes, 255/40 in front and 275/40 rears.
spacing?

Wheel and tire package I bought new from Tire Rack and believe are Tire Rack brand/exclusive, and although inexpensive for wheels, they've held up just fine so far. Details can be found here, post# 136 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...thread-10.html

Bought my first Lexus ever after years of building and owning Nissans.
2011 LS460 in Matador Red with the infamous “Gold Package” that most hate lol. I think it looks pretty good. I’m the second owner and she’s only got 76k miles as of now. She’s staying stock for now as I’m enjoying the comforts of a stock luxury car. Unfortunately she suffers from sticky dash and the previous owner never got it resolved so there’s that. Stock navigation blows and I don’t see much for aftermarket options or even a module for apple CarPlay. If anyone has suggestions please let me know.

PS Don't get discouraged as I believe not too many members read this thread, Regardless, still a good number of people here with helpful info and experience with these cars. Plus DIYers who have gone through a lot of fixes not uncommon to these old sleds.

Welcome. In the spirit of you learning, go to Special Interest Forums (top left of page) and choose Lexus Audio. There are threads about Apple CarPlay installation. There's also a paint on product from Australia that several members have applied to sticky dash successfully. There is a recent thread about map updates, dealer only and pricey. Still, nav interface is a Lexus weak spot. I use google maps or Waze when needed. I think the CarPlay adapter will put google maps on the screen.
