Guys,

I've been emailing with my Japanese (Lexus) buddy in Japan. I told him how I wish my Lexus could pull some truck duty because here lately the truck is not a joy to ride in after owning my LS 460L.

He indicated that Lexus is working on the solution. He even sent me a picture of their concept.

Now, he wasn't supposed to send me the picture, but he trusts me. I know I shouldn't post this picture here, but if you guys will just not link this thread anywhere, I think we'll be OK.

He said the concept is a little rough around the edges ... they still have a few details to sort out (something about some color mismatch, and the styling harmony of the existing body with the new bed ... I didn't notice anything off). Anyway, it's going to have the new 5.0L engine in it and everything. Check it out.
