So many threads on this topic, this is normal. Just run the AC all the time.

I think this has been discussed before...there might be a couple threads on it. But my car has a slight vibration too when the AC is off...the RPMs dip to about 500. When AC is on they bump up to 600-650...but I can still hear the "diesel clicking."
