Default You happy with your ****?

Interesting subject line. I have always thought my shift **** no where resembles the wood tone of my interior. I am looking to replace it with another one. Have any of you replaced yours? If so, with what? I've been looking at the black leather chrome ones from a 600. I've also seen one on ebay some from GS's. Will those work? Any other recommendations?

Thanks, Ron

I am very happy with my **** but here a few ideas: 8 Ball, Hurst "T" handle, Pistol Grip, Budweiser Beer Tap, Skull, Golf Ball, Baseball to name a few.

You'd have to ask my wife.

However, I replaced my LS **** because of the wood grain fading to a point of not matching the rest of the trim. I bought a Lexus one with the the chrome and leather in place of the wood. Like this:

I swear...R Z and Roadfrog...you guys just wont stop the antics! I'm simply appalled!

Honestly, I was going to bring this up at some point, because I've been kind of wondering the same about mine.
My **** (just feels funny typing that) isn't in bad condition, though the wood isn't the same rich cherry shade as the rest of the wood in the car, and recently when my wife was driving the car, she had a ring on and now the leather around the wood area is a tad bit gnarled.
A visual sore and more of me being OCD than anything...
There is a thread discussing this somewhere out there, as I recall reading about it and the thread had photos in it.
Chris, how do you like yours?
Has anyone else changed out and replaced the OEM with another OEM?

I like it a lot. It suits the interior very nicely. It's OEM, so quality is high.

Nah I didn't buy that one. I found it in yellow.

I actually just pulled the trigger on a used OEM black leather/Chrome one for $40 plus shipping charges. Certainly looking forward to getting it. I'll throw my old one up on ebay later.

No time wasted! Awesome!
If you wouldn't mind, post a photo of it once you've installed the new one.

That very point was covered early on. If the DW was every guilty of Gnarling the **** or any other part of the LS with her jewelry there would be hell to pay. To her credit she has shown great care for how she handles the **** and drives the LS in her twice weekly alone time with it.
