Blown/ Rattling subwoofer

I don't see why an aftermarket sub wouldn't work, provided the impedance is exactly the same as the OEM. Just have to find one that fits more than anything else. Impedance matching ensures the proper output of the amp and doesn't exceed the rated power output.
The sub might list the impedance value on the magnet (e.g., 4 OHMS) or it might be on the bottom of the amp. I know the base stereo lists the speaker impedance on the amp itself as I saw a picture of it online (I searched the amp part # and found it). I found the amp part number by using the Lexus online parts website I linked in another thread.

Hi. The sub in my LS460L Exec right hand drive, has a slight "fuzzy" rattle at low volume. How do I get it out to check it?
Also, the Amp was replaced a couple of months ago, but where is it? Since then, the radio reception is weak, possibly bad contact somewhere in the aerial system? How can I find where plugs etc are? Cheers, Keith.
PS. What am I missing? I can't recall how to start a new thread! Lol.
