Question on a dash light
Greetings. When I started my car this morning, I noticed a warning light I've never seen. I looked it up and it doesn't even show it anywhere. Has anyone ever seen this? My car is driving just fine. I'm calling the dealership shortly.

I think thats the turbo light, its activating the extra horsepower Lexus never intended to give us. I think they call it the CEL (Change Engine Levels) to activate the torque boosting turbo features of the supercharged all hybrid motor. Let us know how it drives, I haven't been so lucky.

R Z, the check engine light (CEL) can be read for free at nearly any auto parts store using an ODBII reader (Pep Boys, etc).
You can buy a new ODBII reader for under $30, if you wanted to.
The dealership will probably charge you an hour's of "labor" for reading the code... just once.
Let us know what you learn.
