Yeah SWB or LWB the buttons on the console are the same.
I wouldn't be really worried about the air suspension either way. If he puts 10k a year on it and has it for 7 years that's 70k miles. If he buys one with 30k on it that's 100k miles. My dad had a 400 and a 430 both with air suspension, his 400 had almost 200k miles on it and his 430 had about 100. No issues with the air suspension.

The Sport/FSport air suspension is a tad softer than the base non-air suspension when set to Comfort mode, but the Sport's mandatory 19" wheels (needed to clear the enormous Brembo calipers in front) counteract some of this by increasing impact harshness due to the lower-profile tires. In driving both on a daily basis, (and in my opinion) the character of the LS460 clashes with the Sport/FSport changes. Yes, it looks nicer/cooler, and is more fun to drive when driven hard (yet still not entirely satisfying as a sports car would be in that same situation). But in daily driving, I find the base non-air suspended 18" wheel version more comfy and more cohesive with the mission of the overall LS460 platform. Even the smooth leather steering wheel is more comfy to hold than the Sport's perforated leather one.

Is the bamboo interior available on the '13-16 LS460? I thought it was only available to hybrid models. I just saw a '14 LS460 that has bamboo listed for sale on cars.com as we browse through.
