Pulling all the engines to change valve springs, changing left and right front door glass because of complaining customers, almost all brake actuator failures, ML amps and fuel rail recalls is a huge nightmare for a manufacturer and the mechanics working for warranty time. I've been there and let me tell you this is as bad as it gets. The only upside is the fact that it wasn't on Camrys or RX's with those high volumes.
Most of those issues were over several years and not the 07 exclusively. My 08 was recalled for the valve spring recall as were other MY's. Same with the door glass. Same applies to most of the other issues. Now if one wants to argue whether pre-2010 and up had more issues...maybe, but then other issues crop up over the later MY's as well. I think a 2010 is a happy medium for price etc, but I still can't afford a newer model That...and my 08 has been completely trouble free and has 105k miles.....though I did replace the water pump for a hundred bucks.
