Nice, it does look more coupe-like, seen in some renditions.

Can't wait to see the real thing.

Yeah, can't tell much from that pic.

Excited to see the real thing soon.

It appears they are still keeping the spindle grill. You can see the outline of it.

On the other hand, I love those 1950's Caddy style tail fins.

Why are people surprised when they keep the spindle grille? The spindle is here to stay, they're not abandoming it now.

You have to wonder if these "spy shots" are actually paid advertisements or something.

What little we can see of the car certainly makes it looks more coupe-like and sporty, and less "stately" (whatever that means...)

What's the purpose of driving (testing) such a heavily camouflaged car? All that stuff is going to make the car pretty noisy. The cladding will ruin fuel economy and definitely affect handling. Even the mirrors are not the real item. What do they expect to learn? Or is it to just increase suspense and excitement among fanboys ??

LOL, I was going to say the same thing! It's funny how they piece things together to help with camouflage. Fins are cool, and the headlights aren't bad either.

It looks very promising, and it appears to be pretty large - maybe more so than a current L. I too can't wait to see the real thing.

And yes, I expect the spindle grille to be around for a while. In retrospect, the previous design theme, L-finesse, was around for only 7 or 8 years before the spindle grille was introduced (less if we consider the early spindle on the CT), but the spindle grille has been part of an arguably much larger, all-in effort to redefine the brand.

Probably testing the 4 or 6 cyl turbo and supercharger combined motor like in the new Volvos.

Exactly what I was thinking, looks like a GS.

Having driven toyota vehicles with the covers on it like that, I can tell you that they can do handling evaluations & suspension tuning with that stuff.

They wouldn't be testing a GS mule yet, the all new GS is still too far away.

Very confident this is the LS.
