Default Completed conversation today

Replaced air suspension all around. 2008 LS460L RWD
looks to be riding a little high but better than the fleecing I took to try to replace with aftermarket ebay set. I wanted to keep car stock but just couldn't afford to. I would say yes the ride is stiffer but comfortable. Ordered replacement struts from Rock Auto delivered to door had installed for 500. Left all sensors and everything plugged in I do have light on dash but I believe its for low air in spare I will get checked tomorrow and follow up.

You tried using aftermarket eBay air suspension first? If so, what was the results & longevity?

What springs & brand of struts did install?

They lasted 1 Day the mechanic at LEKSFIX had no interest in trying to save me money or to figure out the issue after putting on the aftermarket parts. It may have been sensor or computer-related but I had spent 4,000 dollars to find that out! I had them replaced car drove great one night and brought it home and parked it the next morning the passenger side was sitting on the ground and the driver side airline came out when I started it up at that point I was like I'm going to coil over or springs I did not have any more money to spend trying to figure out air suspension issue.

So I went with FCS Auto Struts for $368.89 plus $500 in Labor with Unique Auto
FCS1345954R
FCS1345954L
FCS1345963 x (2)
from Rockauto
compared to 4000$ for LEKSFIX.

This video and somewhere else in the forum had recommended FCS.

Good info. If you can report back after a year or 15k miles and tell us if you're still satisfied with the new setup...

DANG! Bummer, sorry to hear that!

Next time I have to replace mine, I’m either going to swap out with coil overs, or will probably part ways with the car… I’ve already swapped out all front C arms, both front air struts, valley plate leak repair etc and spent $$$$

Off subject, but voices in my head have been telling me to part ways now & get into a GSF…hmmm

I was thinking about a used RCF or GSF earlier this year but those cars are usually driven hard plus too much money for me and they come with their own set of problems from what I've read here. Better the devil you know...I used to enjoy loud rough riding cars haha
