Let me start off with, this is how my car looks on 22's(AME Gracers)
With all the potholes and such in the new Orleans area, I seem to keep getting bends and leaks (could be because of my driving)
I bought a set of 21's with the intent of having them rebuilt. ( Leon Hardiritt Adel's)
I'm thinking either bigger lips or step lipping and also having the faces redone in diamond cut. They are currently 21x8 all around. It seems to be pretty difficult to find a set of lips for 21's. And since this is a thread about 21's here's how I hope they will come out.

Finding a 21" lip is not difficult if you don't mind it being made in the US. Getting a JDM one will be difficult.

I had 4 set in 21" so far and loves the ride quality with the thicker side wall. You can find 3 pieces US brand in 21" very easy and the tires selection isn't bad at all.
Modulare Forged M4
Vellano VSO
COR Colonial
Also bought these HRE 542r to rebuild for my car however never got a chance to do so since the car is up for sale

I'm back in a 2014 LS460 F Sport as a daily driver and want to have some healthy/chunky tires and no stretching. I have factory air and maybe will occasionally lower the car by an inch or so or just roll around stock height. I will shave the rear fenders and roll the fronts.
I want to run these specs. They are obviously taller/wider than spec, but they are basically the same as 265/30/22 and 295/25/22 (according to the tire calculators) so I don't see why they wouldn't fit? Anything I am missing?
Wheel Specs are: 21 x 9.5 +25 and 21 x 10.5 + 31
Tires: Michelin PSS 265/35 21 and 295/30 21
Currently I have LS500 F Sport staggered wheel with 245/45/20 and 275/40/20 and no rubbing at stock height. Diameters are 28.7( inch taller than ls460 spec).

Yup, You have to pay to play, especially if you want quality products, especially for a daily driver. I'm dropping about $1700 on Michelin Pilots today for some 21" Work wheels which aren't cheap either. I'm older now, but love to still mod my car, but too old to run rubber bands and be worried about road conditions. Funny almost 10 years ago I ran 285 25 22 on a 22 x 11 VIP Modular rim. Not crazy for most but that was crazy for me!
