Default the 21 inch club

Im not sure if this topic has been started so here it goes.

can you post your 21 inch wheels on your ls460 here.

I've always felt 21 inch was the ultimate fit diameter for the ls460. It's as the jdm wheel conpanies made the 21 inch diameter specifically for the ls460.

I'll start with mine.

cool thanks. that posting seems to be mostly 22, which look too big and it raises the car up given the size tire thats being used.

21 is like the golden size for the ls460. It's just so specific.

Too bad tire choices are so limited in 21's.

22s with the PROPER plus sizing does not raise the car up as the overall diameter combo of the wheel and tire are actually the same as the 19" oem wheel/tire combo. It may appear that way because due to the optical illusion because the thicker tire blends better with the shadows of fender gap. But as you can see, the proper plus size will keep the overall diameter as close as possible to stock. in this case, there is only a 3 tenths of an inch difference..hardly enough to dramatically raise a vehicle. But I do agree that the 21" wheel size is a good look for the LS. But a 22 in a step lip configuration looks great also

And the 21s with the proper plus sizing actually adds 1/10 of an inch to the overall diameter, but pretty much spot on like the 22s.

I think 21's are perfect for this chassis. 20's look too small and 22's look too big and if not lowered, actually look Donkish.

Haha......people are bored with my car, including me.

But with 21's, tire selection and even tire manufacturers are a real challenge with that wheel size.

nice work zistance.

if your sporting 21 inch, then it's very likely it was specific for the ls460.

I've had 2 sets of 22s and they are just slightly too big. On my 2nd set of 21s now and I think it's the perfect size for the car and gives the best ride quality. The added sidewall makes a difference.
My first set of 21s

And my current set.
