here are the only 10 colors available to 11' LS460. My car has no accident from car proof, paint on my car looks like machine painted and has the perfect a littlle bit thick paint bump at the edge of the door.

But google Black Opal Mica and look at the pictures. That's a different color than your car, that's the mystery.

There's another label on the door panel, that says manufactured by Toyota motor company on it, the paint code is on that sticker

My car is in the bodyshop and I called them today about the color. They said they will paint according to the color code first if that is a match and they never heard of self-healing clear coat Lexus LS uses. I hope they know what they are doing.
I google the black opal mica and I found a pic of 2008 LS460 balck opal mica. sometimes that color will pick up some background color, so it will look a lille blue or grey. If you have pure black and black opal mica parking side by side, that opal mica will stand out.

Including all of these:
This car is Stargazer Black, which looks more similar to your color, as you can see the metallic has no blue. This color was not a stock color on the LS though:
Heres a discussion on this forum about these three colors and the differences:

The descriptions:
ep! I have stargazer black.
Obsidian is straight black. No metallic flakes. Looks great when clean but swirls show very easily.
Stargazer black is black with metallic flakes. With most metallic flakes, it doesn't actually look black in the sunlight but instead is more of a darkish bronze.
Black Opal Mica is a hybrid only color. It looks black like the others at night but in the sunlight is more of a dark purple.

Did you look for that sticker I mentioned above? Please take a look and share it with us so we can see the paint code. We're curious too.
BTW, I would definitely be dubious about your bodyshop from what you have said.

Also, not to add any insult to injury, the blue LS in the above photo is the color I have on my LS, which is Black Sapphire Pearl.
"Appears" black in dimly lit or in the evening, however when it is in direct light, it is evident that the car is a metallic blue/sapphire.

I'm very interested in seeing the color code.

I will check the colour code once I get my car back from body shop. It is hard to capture the true colour by camera. One pic I took by iPhone 6 looks like have a hint of blue, but from my eyes, it never show any hint of blue or other colour. It is always shiny black with no sun or black with sparkles under sunlight

Now that I know what color it is, there would be no missing the blue/purple...
I'm really interested to see what color it is. The sticker you're looking for when you get it back is down on the lower corner of the frame when you open the drivers door.
