Ls600hl60

i thought I finally fixed trunk not opening or closing on my ls600hl well I was wrong. After removing trunk motor assembly (2 10mm bolts and quick disconnect plug) notice that a small micro switch was damaged . Called Lexus parts department for switch and was told I had to purchase the whole motor assembly for 800 dollars. Thanks but no thanks, went on eBay and bought new updated version delivered to my house for 402 dollars. To remove and install unit took less than fifteen minutes . Trunk works great

This is my trunk motor if you look at the green switch you'll notice there is a copper lever missing which allows motor to unlock from latch .Hope this helps
