Two concerns

To reset that oil light yourself, these are the steps for an '07, but I don't know if things have changed for your model year.
Step 1 - Switch the display to the trip A when the engine is running.
Step 2 - Turn the engine switch OFF.
Step 3 - While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the engine switch to the IG-ON mode (but do not start the engine because otherwise the reset mode will be cancelled). Press and hold the button until the multi-information display indicates that the reset is complete.

Interestingly enough, I've had that pleasant smell in my car ever since I bought it 2 years ago. I wonder if when they change the cabin filter they put a scent on the filter before putting it in place. I was watching one of those how to tv shows and they recommended putting something like a vanilla scent on your filter when you change it out. I'd probably use Pyramid Patchouli. ;-)

Thanks for that info. I had just gotten that message on my dash. I was more annoyed than concerned but glad I was able to clear it.

Good point. The dealer did install new cabin filters in March, and may have slipped in a freshner that could be acting up. I will have them check it out.

I guess with a Lexus it's not classy to hang one of those green pine trees from the rear view mirror.

Update:
I took the car in for oil service and smell issue.
1) SA said synthetic TGMO put in only 5000 miles ago, can wait another 5k before oil change. As mentioned in earlier post, the reminder was reset, so no real issue here.
2) They did an exhaustive check of the vehicle, and there were no issues. No coolant leak, AC system ok, charcoal cabin filter ok. After airing out car in garage for past 2 weeks, smell not very strong but still evident. My guess is the Lloyd Luxe mats I installed in late August may be releasing fumes. Hopefully the problem will resolve itself. Steve (SW15LS), did you notice anything after installing these mats?
3) They balanced and rotated the tires. Total cost $70. Happy to do it. In return the family got a loaner to go shopping at Apple Store (none in my hometown) where this Lexus fanboy got to play Apple fanboy and bought an Apple Watch
