I'm on my second air suspension LS (235k miles combined). I just replaced one rear shock. That's the only issue I've had. But, I like the added comfort.

Yes, just makes it so it does not have that sort of boat ride. Also in normal or comfort my even gets a little car sick on a long trip without the sport mode.

On my '10 Sport it really seems to firm up the ride and response rate. Cornering and turns are night and day.
