I have a 2014 FSport.

I have powerstop drilled/slotted rotors and the carbon fiber pads. They are pretty quiet and dust free. Only time the squeal is if the car had sat for a week or so.

They did require me to bed them but that was no big deal.

My experience with modern Toyota rotors has been less than stellar. My 2007 Camry XLE and later my 2014 Avalon Limited all experienced horrible rotor warping on OEM parts. I ended up replacing the rotors with Centric Cryo-treated rotors and EBC red pads and that solved it permanently. I have no idea what I'll see in my 2013 LS460 when it gets here tomorrow but if there's any sign of vibration that's the combo I'll be going with again. OEM rotors are garbage.

Agreed - Mine were horribly warped (the fronts) at 13,800 miles, when I bought it. I pulled them and had them cut ($10 each). Was great for a while. They're not nearly as bad now, but getting annoying. At 43k miles. I take it easy on brakes. But will do the nice Centric rotors when I replace them (soon).

I ordered them from two places

Back from https://www.jcwhitney.com/, there is always a 20% off coupon floating around. No shipping and no tax.

For the front I got the Z23-1440 from Brakeguys.com. They were the only place I could find that sold them at the time.

how different is the brakes from Fsport to non F?

I was looking at getting the stop tech cross drilled and dimpled kit with pads from Rockauto for the fronts. And thank you for letting me know the brake pad sensor is pretty easy to get and replace!!

This is why I love CL

Oddly enough, the OEM rotors on my 2017 have been great. I'm at 15k miles and by this time the rotors on my 2015 were totally warped.

What about the rotors? Just need the fronts. Don't want to go cross drilled as it won't match the back. Doesn't need to be replaced yet.

It has been about 18 months and 28K miles since I put on new Centric rotors and ceramic posi-quiet brake pads. I have noticed squealing in reverse for the past month. The noise only occurs in reverse. I have not had a chance to take a closer look nor ask my mechanic about it. What is a squeal during reverse usually indicative of?

I replaced all pads and rotors on my 08 with PowerSport brand I bought on Amazon. Took a risk buying some cheap stuff but the reviews were solid and I'm glad I went this route. Everything was great quality, brakes feel perfect with no noise or issues.

As much as I wanted the drilled rotors for looks, my research dissuaded me from doing so. Noise, no matter how subtle, scared me off. Maybe next time.
are you able to tell me rockauto part numbers for centric pads and rotors all 4

Also note if your brake warning light is on in your car make sure you buy the new brake pad wear sensors if you want the light to be turned off. Below is what I ordered for my 2013 SWB RWD
CENTRIC 10512830
CENTRIC 10512820
CENTRIC 12044148 (2)
CENTRIC 12044149 (2)

@FatherTo1 hey did you figure out what caused the noise only when reversing? I am having the same problem with my '15 F-sport.

Hey @ccbcc , I reviewed my records but unfortunately can’t find any indication that the issue was addressed. It may have stopped squealing on its own. I sold the LS about six months later and I recall everything was perfect on the car at the time of sale. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
