Wow, Dirtee, that's quite lower than the $302 I priced out from RockAuto last month. I was curious and noticed the CarID site lists three versions of Centric Posi-Quiet brake pads (Premium Semi-Metallic, Premium Ceramic, and Extended Wear). Which one are most people using with their Centric Premium rotors? Which CarID part numbers did you purchase for the pads, Dirtee?

Correct, the Posi Quiet Ceramic is what you want.

I personally use Akebono PRoACT pads with oem rotors. But, I know someone who drives very aggressive with their LS and they have the Ebay Crossed Drilled/Slotted with pads package for (i recall) under $400 front and rear and he absolutely loves them..no issues.

What year is yours, Dirtee, and RWD or AWD? I'm coming up with $270 for 2013+ RWD and that's before tax or shipping to NorCal. Still less than RockAuto at the moment.

Rockauto is cheaper than 270. I just looked at my invoice - 260 dollars and that included shipping. Dont forget there are discount codes for Rockauto

You're right! Came out to $239.54 before tax and shipping. My mistake before was that I assumed the pads were individually packaged!
EDIT: More than a little embarrassing because I have changed my own brake pads before and have purchased OEM Toyota pads in sets. I guess that was a long way back.

I am having the same problem with my F-Sport. I talked to the dealer and they said all kinds of things about not using Lexus pads etc. I put the Akebono pads on my car and the squeek is still there. Do I need to replace the rotors also?

I would definitely change the rotors - just make sure to use good quality rotors like Centric PREMIUM or the like. Also, if you haven't already, replace the brake hardware (springs, clips, etc). The Centrics came with the hardware in my case, but you can also obtain them on Ebay for about 20 bucks for all four corners.

Did anyone "bed" or break-in their Centric rotors and pads after installation? I recall reading in the forum that someone posted Centric instructing not to bed their rotors/pads. I'm having all four rotors and pads installed in the morning and not sure if I should ask my mechanic to skip the bedding.
