I don't think anything else was replaced. Should other parts have been replaced as well?
As seen in the photo I provided, those parts should have been replaced. I have no idea what came in your kit.

I went with PowerStop brake pads and drilled and slotted rotors on all four corners. They're super quiet and produce very little if any brake dust. I ended up replacing the sensors just because it was less than $20 for both on Amazon. These feel less grabby than the stock ones which I know has been a complaint by some on here. Overall I'm happy with them. I've used the same ones on other cars in the past with good results so that's why I decided to use them on the LS.

Anyone find a deal on rotors and pads for an F Sport cheaper than JCWhitney? I can do front and back for $405.83. That was even cheaper than RockAuto by a few dollars.

Also the Z16 pads does not come with "hardware" liek the Z23, but it is the same pad.. What does that mean? Would a normal shop have what is needed to install them without issue?

You can try discountbrakes.com, that's usually where I get my brakes from or sometimes Amazon. You can probably re-use your old hardware as long as it's not in too bad condition.

Thanks but with discount brakes just the rotors cost 50 bucks more than the whole setup. Amazon was more. Didn't want to mess with ebay if the if the price was comparable to a reputable supplier.

Thanks for this info. I went with this set up and chose the posi-quiet pads all from rock auto. I ordered on Monday and they were on my doorstep this morning. Now that's fast.

Hey y’all! Just got a “new” 460 with the sport package and wanted to know what my options are brake wise. I Know that are 19” and from the research I’ve done they are basically the same as the is-f? Would I basically just look for brakes for that car? Also what brands/set ups would you recommend? I’m happy with the feel of the OEM brakes but I hear they wear fast and there is a lot of brake dust from the few days I’ve been driving it. Thanks in advance for the help!

Ok I just finished up changing out all my hardware and my initial drive seems to indicate that my brakes feel much better. The factory rotors lasted 96k and the pads lasted 36k but still had a little life in them but the pad sensors were very close to being tripped.

Just ordered the Centric Premium rotors (non-Touring) and Centric Posi-Quiet Ceramic pads for both fronts and rears. Looking forward to the install in a few weeks.....thx for this thread and the valuable inputs provided herein.

Did you guys replace the brake pad wear sensors as well?

I have the pulsation issue with my factory rotors as well, had it when I got the car months ago and was going to do them eventually, but now my Brake pad sensor light came on. So looking like changing rotors and pads now.

Yes, they are not difficult to replace and can be purchased reasonably at RockAuto

If they have not sent you an alert you can resume them. I did. Saved 20 bucks.

Hopefully someone with an F Sport can chime in here. I'm extremely frustrated with the brakes on this car. This is the only thing that gets on my nerves about driving this thing. Every other aspect is great!

Replaced the OEM pads and rotors with the following:

Centric 104.14400 Brake Pad
CENTRIC 12544176 (Daily Driver) High Carbon Alloy Brake Disc - Front left
CENTRIC 12544177 (Daily Driver) High Carbon Alloy Brake Disc - Front right

This combo squeals like a ****. And it doesn't do it all the time. Can't tell if it does it when it's cold or hot or warm and it makes the sound. It does it upon the first contact and also does when letting go.
I had a Volvo with Brembo brakes and it never did this.

Is there any combination F Sport owners recommend that won't squeal at all?
