Ok. The 55k service was also as uneventful as the 50k was. A quick jack up in the front and 9.5 quarts out and 9.5 quarts in.....

Now the 60K service was a fun one and I learned a lot as I went along.

On with the 60k service:

I performed the following myself:
-Oil and filter change-Fuel cleaner (Seafoam in the fuel tank)-Air filters (left and right side)-Cabin filter-Mass airflow sensor cleaning-Throttle body cleaning-Spark plug replacement -Major detail inside and out with clay bar and waxI brought it to the dealer afterward to perform the following:-Brake fluid flush and replace-Transmission flush and service-Tire balance and rotationLet’s get on with the pictures:Time to take all this pretty plastic off
Throttle body cleaning:
Dirty:
Clean:On to the spark plugs:You have to remove all the air filter plastic as well as the battery to access all the plugs:

All the plugs removed and all the new ones are in:I was doing this all while monitoring my BBQ on the smoker..... Multi-tasking!
Onto the Mass airflow:Once I had all of the air boxes out of the car I cleaned all of them with air and removed the larger southern bugs:The old filters:
I installed all the air boxes and parts along with the battery and replaced the filters:Finally doing the oil change:

It’s still golden brown after 5,000 miles:I put the car all back together, washed, clay bar and waxed the exterior. She looks pretty good!

Here are the receipts from my dealer for the work they performed and the one for the parts I used. You’ll notice I bought front rotors and pads. After looking at how much meat was still on my pads, I decided to wait another 20-30k miles before I replace those parts:

The car is all back together and detailed inside and out. She is ready for another road trip!

Looking good! I only put 5,533 miles on my car last year, and that included three weekend trips totaling 2,148 miles. I can't wait for my first long drive in the LS!

Great to see you back! Glad things continue to go well.

Still liking the car? Cant think of a better car for the sort of driving you do.

Why you gotta rub it in Man. I think the only reason you posted this is because you saw that I totaled my car. (Smile) Good Job !!!!

My car is up for sale fellas. Nothing at all is wrong with it. I just wanted to sell it now before it gets to many miles on it and is worth a lot less.

Tou our all know how this car has been maintained.

If if anyone is looking for a mint condition LS460L, this is the car.

I ‘I just had all new tires put on it with road force balance and a four wheel alignment by the dealer.

Its sitting in in my garage today with 85,250 miles!

32,900 is the asking price.

‘’The dealer just gave it a clear bill of health on Friday after they inspected it. All paperwork is in hand and the title is free and clear of any liens.

I thought about it. I love this car and I’ve always wanted one for ever. After driving it a year and being the sole person in the car day in and day out, I just don’t need such a big car for just me. I’ve thought about it long and hard and obviously I’m selling it for a lot less than I bought it over a year ago but the mileage reflects that price. If I were to keep it another 3 months, it would be at 100k and the values of the car would drop considerably. The time is now if ever to sell it while it still has some value left. The car is mint now and has never been in an accident. I’ll cut my losses now and sell it while it’s in the exact condition I purchased it last year. I’m still looking for a replacement of a little smaller of a car. Since my son turned 17 years old today and is driving his own car, it’s time to let go of one of my three 4 door cars. I’m not giving up my truck or my wife’s car so this is the one to go. 2 doors is in my future!

Didn't expect that. I echo what Steve asked.

I am not in the market, good luck with the sale. I suggest you put this in classified section in this forum (if not already done) and link this thread........

mmade22 Too bad it's slightly off from my criteria. Looking for a 2013 SWB AWD in specific color combos. You'll find someone who will appreciate it as much as you do!

I can understand that, it’s a huge car, and I’m typically the only one in mine too.

That's too bad, I was looking forward to someone pushing an LS460 to its limits (mileage wise). Such a shame because these are mileage monsters, capable of eating up those highway miles with ease. I figured you'd be the first to put half a million miles on one of these things. Good luck though with whatever you purchase next.

First person to come look at it has left me a deposit and is picking the car up this Thursday. It was a good run with the LS and I’m glad it’s going to a good home.

That wasnt a record on selling my cars but it was third best.

My TL I sold in an hour sight on seen on the internet

my GS was one text message and it was sold to a friend.

The LS was sold within 24 hrs of listing it.

Not not a bad track record!

its easy to sell a car when you keep up on it!

Take care guys and thank you for all the kind feedback over the years!
