High beam strange behavior
I put some LED high beams in the HID housings, and they look much better (on the road, almost a pencil-like beam), however, the right one turns off after 4-5 seconds, the left after about 10.
I thought these were bum bulbs, so I did some swapping of them with the OEM halogens. Sure enough, those work.
Wait, let me try the LEDs in my wife's '02 RX300, also with HIDs, and see if they work on it.
Yep...for several minutes, even after cycling them off-on several dozen times.
It's as if the high beam circuit on my LS is somehow weak, as once they shut off, they'll not come back for 10-20 minutes. It helps if the car's been off during this time, but I've had them resume functioning on the way home.
Oh, and later, with the halogens, they stopped working, too. It's as if there is a temperature-sensitive short.
Fuses are good, but I can't find the relay underhood, even though I can hear it. I'm in the large, lower fuse/relay box.
I figure, at this point, I may as well just throw a new relay in it to see if that does it. My hands are getting mighty torn up removing/replacing bulbs in these two cars. Even when the bulbs aren't energizing, the relay still clicks.
As a bonus, though, my wife's '02 got me much newer, very much clearer, 9005 halogen bulbs.
Ideas?

The resistor things are for, at least by my knowledge, the turn indicators, not any of the other beams.
Plus, it should have been just fine with the halogens put back.
