Latest quote so far is for a set of 22" staggered Niche Surge M112 and Continental DWS tires. 3700 dollars inc taxes, install, TPMS sensors etc. Ouch.

My concern is the ride and fender gap. I'm now looking at the same wheels above in 20" staggered setup.

20" sounds a bit more budget friendlier.

Accelera tires or similar. Most likely Lionheart, Delinte, Lexani or Winrun tires.

?? I don't see the tires listed? What are you seeing?

As for Delinte, I know there are/were quite a few members running them and liked them. They seem to get great reviews too. I know these are all made in China or other lesser Asian countries, but I don;t rule them out. I have Chinese snow tires that I've run for many years and have been awesome. That listing may allow me to "upgrade" to another brand....we'll see.

I retracted my glowing review of Delinte tires. if you want to ride on triangles and endless vibration along with tread separation. .then Delinte is for you

My Niche Surge 22's were crap. Heavy cast junk. Poor finish. At least step up to Vossen. Similar styles but better finish I think. Other problem I had with my 22's (besides replacing tires for bubbles in the sidewall) is they never balanced well. Always had a vibration.

I've pretty much settled on staying with 20 inch staggered setup. I don't want to risk being disappointed with the ride on 22 inch. 1010 Tire in Vancouver has so far given me a quote of 2200 dollars for tires and wheels. Niche Surge 10.5 rear and 8.5 front with a set of Ohtsu FP8000 tires (formerly Falken FK453). I'm on my second set of these same tires in my current setup and have been happy with them, but I'm looking to try something new, so I've asked them to price out some other tires. Maybe an all-season.

If you're looking for some different in wheels, I would probably suggest VS Forged by Vertini Wheels. Forged wheels at cheapest I've ever seen compared to the big players like Vorsteiner, Vossen, Avant Garde and so forth.

as for tires..Continental ExtremeContact DWS is always a good choice but if you're looking for something cheaper, I would suggest the Yokohama ADVAN Sport All Season

I'm running VS Forged and Continental tires and love the combo. The wheels are light and beautifully made. Car is dirty, sorry!

Mine are the VS01's and in the double dark tint finish. 20x9 and 20x10.5.

Im telling you, the Niche wheels are heavy as heck and junk. The Vs Forged are night and day comparison.

Sweet!!! That's good to hear and it looks really good! 20" may look small but honestly, I wouldn't sacrifice ride quality for a car like the LS.

Good stuff teedub21!

Hmmm....I kinda like the VS01's but its hard to tell if they're silver or anthracite/gunmetal. My only concern is the US/Canadian $exchange. I can ship to an address in the US, so shipping isn't an issue. Teedub - do you have a pic of your setup?

yeah, I just posted it. In the sun the color doesn't match well in the photo. Mine are the double dark tinted clear. You can get just clear then the silver would show through. They're all built to order. Took mine about 6-7 weeks.
