You sure that wasn't me? LOL. I traded my 7 series for my LS. That car would blow so much blue smoke (at 50k miles!), that you'd swear it was RUNNING on oil and not gas.

Okay hear is the catch. The car was cpo but the payments was higher then expected. So I haggle the director of cpo sales and he took off the cpo extended warranty to meet my exspectations.so bonnie at bay ridge Lexus extended warranty department called corporate Lexus to c if the car is has pre existing cpo warranty and it doesn't. That's why I brought the extended platuim warranty.to cover everything that may goes wrong...so my question to you or anyone.. Where do I stand at this moment with everything said.

So you bought an extended platinum warranty from Lexus at the time of purchase, but it is not CPO, correct?
The platinum warranty should cover any issues...

You have the Lexus Platinum Extra Care Used Car Warranty. It's only supposed to be sold to you by the vehicle's selling dealer but some dealers (Bonnie) will sell you one anyway. Read the terms of the warranty. They will cover anything, except those items specifically excluded, from day one with the exception of anything that exists prior to purchase of the warranty. I believe the"exclusion" period is 30 days but you need to double check this.
My recommendation is don't do anything for at least 1 month into the car and then take it in saying "hey, I started having this problem last week, can you check it out?"

NYC has so many BMW driving around with so many issues. They just stall out on the belt parkway occasionally. The most cars I see on flatbed are BMW and hoopty. To me there are over rated.never will buy one. The new 7 is pretty but not me.. By boy now wants the drop coup.. lol good luck I tell him.

Since you purchased Lexus platinum warranty, you must be within original factory warranty. If so, you could have your dealer check both for you and repair as necessary. No need to wait for a month for platinum warranty to kick in as you most likely do have original warranty at this moment.
