So you like the ride of a Grand Cherokee? I have never driven a standard model but have a 2016 SRT Grand Cherokee. I don't know if it's the wider wheels and low profile OEM tires, or the different suspension, but that vehicle drove like complete crap. Smooth would be the last word I would use to describe that vehicle. Oh and the transmission was all over the place, also not refined in any way. Aside from having decent power, I did not enjoy that vehicle.

That's a totally different animal lol. Track tuned suspension, huge wide tires, rides nothing like an ordinary Grand Cherokee. Aside from my LS sedans, my Grand Cherokees were the best riding vehicles I have ever owned, best road trip vehicle I've ever owned too, perhaps edging out the LS even because you don't have to worry about terrain.

Transmission shifting isn't great. My 2011 had the 5 speed which needed another gear, my 2014 had the 8 speed which had too many gears. Very smooth riding and quiet though.
