FWIW, you can get aftermarket LED turn signal mirrors online from Carid and other sources. I installed them several years ago on my car and they've been working flawlessly for nearly 3 years. Other members here have installed them as well. They look factory and look awesome.
I’ve been reading all the threads on this and trying to find the answer. I have a 2008 Lexus LS460. I want to upgrade the side mirrors to have turning signals. Can someone please maybe drop the thread or what mirrors to but? I read IS mirrors fit, but which year? I really appreciate it, thank you!

You’re saying the 07-12 LS460/600h side mirrors are compatible with 08 LS460? I thgt I read somewhere up that about size or wiring issues. I can work with wiring, but sizing might be a bit much, y’know?
Read post #4. Roadfrog swapped his and he didn't mention the wiring.
It's true he didn't mention wiring. But his post wasn't a how to post. I'm not saying I'm right or wrong, just that it's worth considering that an electrical signal must reach the mirror and how easy/difficult that would be.
Is your LS a 2008? Are you upgrading the lights or just simply replacing? Appreciate it!
I'm just replacing the mirrors. My right mirror has made grinding noises since I got the car in 2017, and the left mirror likes to randomly rotate all the way out, and the only way to get it back in place is to open the window and pull it back into position.
I've read on some sellers' posts that if you buy these mirrors for a pre-2010 car, you'll have to connect the wiring for the turn signal functionality yourself. It's not just plug-and-play.
