Driver's seat heater (butt cushion only) not working
On my way home from work this morning, I noticed that my seat bottom heater is no longer working. I don't believe it would be a fuse or relay, as this would likely mean the back and butt cushion would be controlled by the same fuse/relay and the seat back heats up fine. Am I wrong? Has anyone encountered this? Any advice appreciated as always!

Does the seat light still come on? I know some cars have all seat elements under one relay, which means one bad part takes everything out, but maybe ours are different (although I have no idea)?
No idea how to access or test I'm afraid. If you can get to the pin connectors, you might be able to test it yourself.
Relay, thermostat or the element are the only things that come to mind.
Just a cursory Google search suggests the element as a likely culprit and I think aftermarket is available.

Your reasoning is sound but not necessarily the case. I would double check the fuse locations to see if, indeed, the back and bottom are on separate circuits. Otherwise, the seat bottom heating element may have broken. If it has broken, you might want to take it to an auto upholstery shop to get it fixed rather than the dealer (who will undoubtedly charge a fortune to replace it)!

Well that was short-lived. They work again. I have a hunch that there must be a loose connection under the cushion or seat frame. I noticed this problem cropped up after I adjusted my seat cushion forward and back to clean it. I'll have a closer look at it in the coming weeks.
