Dash cam

Figured that I would add to this thread with my dash cam. It was an early Father's day present
I purchased a BlackVue DR750S- 2CH from Blackboxmycar.
The install was straight forward, no problems. I followed the quick start process. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge phone.
The front camera is not visible from the drivers seat as the rear view mirror obstructs it. You can just barely see the rear camera. I do have a rear shade and it does not touch the camera.
Right now I have it wired to the aux power in the arm rest. I will hard wire it later. For now I am getting familiar with the camera operation. I like the camera view through the phone as you can align the lens using that. I have not tried the cloud feature yet.
The Wifi works fine and I am able to screen the videos on the SD card using my phone. I think I can also download them to the phone but have not tried that yet. The front camera can quickly be removed from the vehicle by unplugging the cables and releasing the catch, literally takes just a few seconds if you wish to take it with you.
I was able to tuck the wires in the headliner using the plastic mini pry bars included with the camera. I took my time and was able to get them in without any damage to the liner. I tucked the extra cable for the rear camera in the quarter panel liner, plenty of room there.
This camera has a parking monitor feature. I am not sure I will make use of that as I seldom park in public areas. At home it is in the garage. At work it is right outside my office window in our private lot.
Once I get some night time videos I will post them up here or on Youtube with links.
Tucked up behind the rear view mirror before I concealed the wires.
Concealing wire in headliner, easy peasy, just go slow
The wire tucks right in.

Rear Camera. Very inconspicuous.

Did you stick it directly on the tint? Any concern with it messing the film up?
Any pics with the shade up?

I bought a Thinkware 800 Pro and hard wire kit and had Best buy install for $49. They offer a rear camera but I didn't add that option. Bought from Dash Bros.
