Top 3 Mods...
Hey guys – Curious about your top 3 highest mods, in terms of your satisfaction with them. My top 3, I like so well, that I would like to hear others top favorites, so I might consider them as well. I don’t think I’ve ever had a car respond to a mod so favorably as has the LS. Not only do these mods make significant changes, they are all 3 tasteful and I have yet to find any downside to them.
My top 3
2. ASC – Air Suspension Controller
3. Prestigious Society By-Pass Module
My top 3
1. Exhaust Vents
- As the “proprieter” of these mods, I will say that I’ve messed around with a single vent, double, triple, and now quadruple vents per flange.
- As the opening gets larger, the amount sound released get louder, but is not proportional. 4 vents is louder than 1, but not 4 times as loud.
- I will also say that 4 vents is too loud inside. It has become not tasteful. So the current single or double set up is the way to go.
2. ASC – Air Suspension Controller
- I’m including a picture at the bottom.
- What I like about this mod is, it’s a lot like the Exhaust Vents. Meaning, if I don’t like this mod, or want to sell it, I just unplug it and remove it and it is as if it had never been there.
- While in use, it makes the car look MUCH better. I left it in Normal Select (no lowering) the other day and came back out from in a store and it looked like a jacked up 4X4.
- Even while lowered down to nearly no fender gap, the ride remains very nice. No bouncy-bouncy like slammed low riders.
3. Prestigious Society By-Pass Module
- I love being able to push any button I want to while driving. If anything, if I’m driving and doing any 2nd activity, it’s the 2nd activity that I suck at. Like holding a phone conversation.
- Meaning, if I want to use a function that was grayed out, it’s not like my driving sucks because I’m pushing buttons. It’s more like it takes me 10 times longer to do what I want to do because I’m focused on driving, and the buttons are a 2nd or 3rd thought.
- I frequently change things while navigating, and use the magic button. I would be pissed if I couldn’t change these things while moving.

I'll omit my tires and wheels as that would be an obvious choice.
#1: I'd have to say my LED side view mirrors and LED tail lights. Really makes the car look like a newer model vehicle than it is.
#2:: Prestigious Society bypass module for the reasons you stated
#3: Remote starter. I especially love this mod for running the AC after a 12 hour shift in a dark uniform. Car is nice and cool (inc the seats) when I hop in the car.
I had a tough choice on which ones I love most - I've done so many. My Bluetooth Module from Vaistech is up there too, as is the exhaust vents. Love the sound they make!

Mine only has three mods. Well, I guess 4 if you count tint.
1. Full Suntek Clear Bra. I just test drove an LS460L for another member in the same color as mine with 10,000 less miles, and the difference in wear between the front of my car with the clear bra and that car without is considerable. Well worth the $1,400 price tag to me.
2. Metal GS F Sport pedals. Huge upgrade IMHO, easy to do and cheap.
3. Lloyd Luxe floormats with custom Lexus logos.
Only other mod I have is window tint, Formula 1 Ceramic 30%. Honestly, on the fence there. First time I've ever had a car tinted, not sure I would do it again next time, perhaps not quite as dark.

Steve - I'm going to check out those floor mats. And, if you were to procure some Exhaust Vents, made by ... let's see, who was it ... oh, Oliver Enterprises, I think it may go to the top of your list.
I've been messing with my vents, I'm going to make another video, when I can. I work with a guy who actually does some movie quality filming on low budget films.

Well ... I'm practicing rev matching when I manually downshift. And getting pretty good at it. When the weather is not overly hot, I'm always riding with the window down, just so I can listen to it. It sounds S W E E T.
I hear the F Sport will rev match when down shifting with the paddles. That would be awesome.
