Great news. I was just notified Lexus will extend the interior repairs until March 31 2021. They ordered my parts and will replace the whole interior except for seats, rugs, headliner, and hard plastic. My dealer said the cost to Lexus is $16,000 per car, but it is no cost to me, plus they will give me a loaner while the work is being done. Customer support notification is ZLZ. Good luck everyone.

almost all of my parts are in for my 2012, they want me to come in next week and get them installed since their parts area is filling up.

So it's not just the armrest, but the entire interior of the door? Anyone have after pictures? I've been poking around on the site but haven't seen what I'm looking for.

the recall for the doors and the dashboard was a few years ago. the letter i received yesterday now covers the glove box, center console, and underneath the steering wheel. it's about time.

great to see this thread, I was going to create a new one to ask if anyone has this "sticky" issues fixed under the program. I plan to go to the dealership in a few weeks!

Why are you showing us a photo of an Audi A8L on a Lexus thread?

Good news! I’m getting EVERY single panel on my interior replaced. 4 door panels, sides of center console, glove box, under dash trim and rear center console (where rear vents are). I couldn’t be more pleased. Some of my panels aren’t that bad but they went ahead and ordered everything. I think $14,000 worth of parts.

I was excited to get my ZLZ notification from Lexus, and made a service appointment. I did not have my paper notification from Lexus with me, but they claimed that "the door panels are not covered for my serial number."
Why are some dealerships so much better than others? I am thinking of just going to a completely different dealer.

Just brought my car in for them to take pictures. Service adviser said that he will send them in and i should get a response from Lexus. He did tell me that it may take quite some time to get all the parts in. I waited about 1.5 years for the dash for my lx570. They did tell me my dash, door panels, center console, and lower dash would probably be changed which is good. I think anything is better than nothing at this point. My car is an 08 so getting some sort of warranty work on it is pretty good. I'm not sure other car manufacturers would be doing this.

Bob where in FL are you and what dealership? I am about to buy an 07 with 95k mile on it but the dash and door panels are fubar, it has been sitting on the lot for a month now, not a lexus dealership, and most likely hasn't sold yet probably bc of the nasty dash and door panels. at any rate if i can't get the lexus dealer to cover it. That will be a deal breaker for me in buying the used 07. Let me know thanks!

Sitting at Lexus to drop off the LS and pick up a loaner. Ready to get this over with.

My 2010 460L is approved but only 2 of my components are in at my dealer. It has taken almost 2 months since approval to get the 2 components and no sign of when the rest will be in. Frustrating as we approach the FL summer here in just a couple weeks. My glove box is already noticeably sticky.

Just got mine back from the dealer this morning but will have to take it back for the rear-right panel as it didn't arrive last week as expected. The dash and all panels look gorgeous and now I have the glovebox divider that was missing when I bought the car. And though I was a little concerned, they didn't screw up my air suspension controller install and got it back in just the way I had it in the new dash.

Wow! Great and new information! My 2008 LS didn't start going sticky until after my AutoWay (second seller) 4 year warranty expired. My baby only has 55K miles and is garage-kept and detailed regularly since I bought her in 2012. At first after I bought her I thought the previous owner had long fingernails and passed it off as an anomaly but now years later the door trim sticks to the dash trim on the driver's side and the driver's door handle looks like a pincushion from a seamstress's desk.

I hope I can get my Lexus righted! Thank you again for all of the posts.

Peace.
